The University of Modena and Reggio Emilia is a university organised according to a network model. Its peculiarity, therefore, is that it is supported by a complementary development project between two distinct academic poles. Modena (home to the second oldest university in Italy, founded in 1175 and developed around the historic Studium mutinensis) and Reggio Emilia in 1998.
In the BOW project, Unimore will empower this expertise. WP1: i) Isolation, large scale expansion, characterization of human Endometrial Decidual Tissue derived MSC (EDT-MSC) to be used as EV producer cell line; ii) Development of a bioreactor platform to support the ex vivo expansion of EDT-MSC and to provide an increased yield of EVs.
