Attending ISEV2024

Paolo Guazzi and Francesca Loria are thrilled to announce BOW’s participation in the International Society for Extracellular Vesicles (ISEV) 2024 Annual Meeting, set to take place from May 9-12 in Melbourne, Australia. This prestigious event brings together leading researchers and scientists from around the world, focusing on the latest advancements in the field of extracellular vesicles (EVs). The ISEV Annual Meeting, which now attracts over 1,200 attendees each year, is renowned for its dynamic sessions and innovative exhibits.

We are proud to share that HBM, in collaboration with Microgentas, will be participating in a Gold co-sponsorship at ISEV2024. This sponsorship underscores our commitment to supporting groundbreaking research and fostering collaboration within the EV community. More details about our sponsorship can be found on Paolo Guazzi’s LinkedIn post.

Presenting Our Research

During the conference, Francesca will be presenting a poster detailing data generated in the context of the BOW project, which is currently under revision at the Journal of Extracellular Vesicles (JEV). The poster will include a QR code linking to our preprint and the BOW project website, offering attendees easy access to our latest findings and ongoing work. More about this presentation can be viewed on Paolo Guazzi’s LinkedIn post.

Engaging the Community: BOW Technologies Questionnaire

In an effort to engage the conference community and gather valuable insights, they have prepared a questionnaire focused on the BOW technologies. These technologies, which include EV membrane-coated magnetic nanoparticles and a microfluidic device for their fabrication, purification, and manipulation, have the potential to become the cornerstone of a new BOW2 project.

The questionnaire aims to gauge the level of familiarity and expectations within the EV audience regarding these promising technologies and their potential applications. This initiative will help us explore new horizons for applications and identify potential markets. Participants who complete the questionnaire will be entered into a lottery, adding an element of excitement to our engagement efforts. Additionally, Francesca will be conducting oral interviews to gather more in-depth feedback.
